Fans at Thursday's league challenge between the Voorhees Vikings (Glen Gardner, NJ) and the visiting South Hunterdon Eagles (Lambertville, NJ), saw Voorhees's basketball squad hold off South Hunterdon by a count of 61-55.

With the victory, Voorhees upgrades its record to 3-8 on the campaign. The Vikings travel to Somerville (Somerville, NJ) to play the Pioneers in a Skyland - Valley test on Tuesday, February 10. The Pioneers go into the test with a record of 6-1.

The Eagles now own a 10-3 record. They play next when they travel to Bound Brook for a Skyland - Valley test on Saturday, January 24. South Hunterdon will encounter a Crusaders squad coming off a 60-47 non-league win over Academy Charter (Lake Como, NJ). The Crusaders record now stands at 7-4.
