The Southern Valley Eagles football team (Oxford, NE), was beaten 38-8 in Friday's non-league challenge with the host Hershey Panthers (Hershey, NE)

The Panthers (2-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Doniphan-Trumbull (Doniphan, NE). The Cardinals come into the non-league challenge with a 1-1 record. In their last challenge, Doniphan-Trumbull achieved victory over St. Patrick's (North Platte, NE), 33-30, in a non-league challenge.

The Eagles now sport a 0-2 record. They take the field next when they host Minden for a non-league challenge on Friday, September 9.
