The Pearl Pirates routed the host Holmes County Central Jaguars basketball team by a final score of 62-23 in Saturday's non-league game.

In their next game, the Pirates face the Southaven Chargers (Southaven, MS) in a non-league game, on Thursday, December 27. Pearl will attempt to move on its 13-1 season record. The Chargers enter the game with a 9-7 record after their 45-39 non-league loss to Saltillo (Saltillo, MS).
