New Mexico High School Football - Marfa toppled by Animas
September 30, 2022: Animas, NM 88020 In Friday's non-league match, the host Animas Panthers football squad scored a good 58-28 victory over the Marfa Shorthorns.
In their next game, the Panthers clash with the Carrizozo Grizzlies (Carrizozo, NM) in a 6-Man District 3 (6 Man) match, on Friday, October 7. Animas will attempt to move on its 4-2 season record. The Grizzlies enter the match with a 1-5 record after their 70-20 league loss to Mountainair (Mountainair, NM).
The Shorthorns (1-5) will now prepare for their match against Van Horn (Van Horn, TX). The Eagles enter the 1A 6 Man 1 Region II District 6 (6 Man) match with a 2-3 record.
