In Friday's non-league outing, the East Aurora Blue Devils (East Aurora, NY) basketball squad knocked off the host Sutherland Knights (Pittsford, NY), by a margin of 71-57.

The Blue Devils (12-5) will now prepare for their outing against Depew (Depew, NY). The Wildcats go into the Section 6 Erie County III bout with a 11-5 record. In their last bout, Depew toppled Griffith Institute (Springville, NY), 72-34, in a league bout.

Next up, the Knights play the Eastridge Lancers (Rochester, NY) in a Section 5 Monroe County III bout, on Wednesday, February 15. Sutherland will attempt to upgrade on its 12-5 season record. The Lancers go into the bout with a 9-7 record after their 54-45 league win over Brighton (Rochester, NY).
