The crowd at Thursday's league match between the Notre Dame Tigers (Belmont, CA) and the host Valley Christian Warriors (San Jose, CA), saw Notre Dame's softball squad nip Valley Christian by a count of 3-0.

The Tigers now sport a 9-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Mercy for a non-league match on Monday, April 6. Notre Dame will face a Crusaders squad coming off a 1-0 league loss to Castilleja (Palo Alto, CA). The Crusaders record now stands at 6-5.

With the loss, Valley Christian falls to 7-5 on the campaign. The Warriors travel to Homestead (Cupertino, CA) to face the Mustangs in a non-league match on Friday, April 3. The Mustangs enter the match with a record of 8-5. Homestead won 2-1 in their recent non-league match against Capuchino (San Bruno, CA)
