The Alief Taylor Lions football team (Houston, TX), was tipped 18-14 in Friday's league challenge with the host George Ranch Longhorns (Richmond, TX)

The Longhorns (3-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Dawson (Pearland, TX). The Eagles come into the 6A Region III District 23 challenge with a 3-3 record. In their last challenge, Dawson nipped Brazoswood (Clute, TX), 50-14, in a league challenge.

The Lions now sport a 1-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Alief Hastings for a 6A Region III District 23 challenge on Friday, October 19. Alief Taylor will meet a Bears team coming off a 29-17 league loss to Strake Jesuit (Houston, TX). The Bears record now stands at 4-2.
