Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Mount Carmel prevails North Schuylkill
December 15, 2011: Mount Carmel, PA 17851 Mount Carmel RED TORNADOES (Mount Carmel, PA) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting North Schuylkill Spartans (Ashland, PA), 49-35 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Mount Carmel upgrades its record to 1-2 on the season. The RED TORNADOES host Warrior Run (Turbotville, PA) to encounter the Defenders in a Heartland II bout on Tuesday, December 20. The Defenders go into the bout with a record of 1-1. Warrior Run lost 80-55 in their recent non-league bout against Muncy (Muncy, PA)
Next up, the Spartans encounter the Northwestern Lehigh Tigers (New Tripoli, PA) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, December 17. North Schuylkill will attempt to upgrade on its 1-1 season record.
