April 27, 2018: Murfreesboro, AR 71958 Spectators at Friday's non-league match between the Poyen Indians (Poyen, AR) and the host Murfreesboro Rattlers (Murfreesboro, AR), witnessed Poyen's softball squad tip Murfreesboro by a count of 3-0.
The Indians now sport a 22-3 record. They play next when they travel to Stuttgart for a non-league match on Monday, April 30. Poyen will face a Ricebirds squad coming off a 9-0 non-league win over Lonoke (Lonoke, AR). The Ricebirds record now stands at 21-5.
With the loss, Murfreesboro moves to 16-9 on the season.
