In Thursday's non-league battle, the visiting Globe Tigers volleyball team scored a 3-1 triumph over the Miami Vandals.

The Tigers (9-3) will now prepare for their battle against Fountain Hills (Fountain Hills, AZ). The Falcons come into the 3A South battle with a 12-2 record. In their last battle, Fountain Hills achieved victory over Coolidge (Coolidge, AZ), 3-1, in a league battle.

Next, the Vandals clash with the Baboquivari Warriors (Sells, AZ) in a 2A South battle, on Tuesday, October 13. Miami will attempt to advance on its 9-4 season record. The Warriors come into the battle with a 9-5 record after their 3-2 league loss to Hayden (Winkelman, AZ).
