In Saturday's non-league match, the visiting Skyline Raiders basketball team scored a tight 42-40 triumph over the Lincoln Tigers.

In their next game, the Raiders confront the Pearce Mustangs (Richardson, TX) in a 5A Region II District 9 match, on Wednesday, January 2. Skyline will attempt to move on its 17-9 season record.

With the defeat, Lincoln moves to 18-4 on the year. The Tigers travel to Spruce (Dallas, TX) to confront the Timberwolves in a 4A Region II District 12 match on Friday, January 4.
