The Canterbury (St. Petersburg, FL) varsity basketball team lost Monday's home non-conference game against Out-of-Door Academy (Sarasota, FL) by a score of 53-32.
The Out-of-Door Academy Thunder basketball team scored 53 points and held the host Canterbury Crusaders to 32 in the Thunder non-league triumph on Monday.
The Thunder now sport a 6-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Evangelical Christian for a 3A District 9 contest on Tuesday, December 8. Out-of-Door Academy will meet a Sentinels team coming off a 69-49 non-league win over First Baptist Academy (Naples, FL). The Sentinels record now stands at 11-3.
The Crusaders (1-6) will now prepare for their contest against Sarasota Christian (Sarasota, FL). The Blazers enter the 2A District 9 contest with a 1-5 record. In their last contest, Sarasota Christian was routed by Keswick Christian (St. Petersburg, FL), 53-42, in a league contest.
