September 23, 2011: Casey, IL 62420 In Friday's non-league match, the host Casey-Westfield Warriors football squad scored a big 48-0 victory over the Lincoln Alices.
In their next game, the Warriors clash with the Edwards County Lions (Albion, IL) in a Little Illini match, on Friday, September 30. Casey-Westfield will attempt to move on its 5-0 season record. The Lions enter the match with a 0-5 record after their 58-20 league loss to Lawrenceville (Lawrenceville, IL).
The Alices (2-4) will now prepare for their match against Washington (Washington, IN). The Hatchets enter the Big Eight match with a 2-4 record. In their last match, Washington was crushed by Mt. Carmel (Mt. Carmel, IL), 29-0, in a league match.
