The St. Monica Mariners basketball team scored 58 points and held the visiting Notre Dame Academy Regal Gryphons to 32 in the Mariners non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Mariners now sport a 7-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to El Segundo for a non-league contest on Friday, December 7. St. Monica will meet a Eagles team coming off a 58-49 non-league loss to Beverly Hills (Beverly Hills, CA). The Eagles record now stands at 2-1.

The Regal Gryphons (1-1) will now prepare for their contest against St. Mary's Academy (Inglewood, CA). The Belles enter the non-league contest with a 5-3 record. In their last contest, St. Mary's Academy trounced Lawndale (Lawndale, CA), 33-26, in a non-league contest.
