Indiana High School Basketball - Southmont succumbs to Turkey Run
January 29, 2011: Marshall, IN 47859 The Turkey Run Warriors topped the visiting Southmont Mounties basketball team by a final score of 71-63 in Saturday's non-league game.
In their next game, the Warriors face the Attica Red Ramblers (Attica, IN) in a Wabash River game, on Friday, February 4. Turkey Run will attempt to move on its 6-9 season record. The Red Ramblers enter the game with a 1-13 record after their 62-43 non-league loss to Lafayette Central Catholic (Lafayette, IN).
With the defeat, Southmont moves to 3-10 on the year. The Mounties host Tri-West Hendricks (Lizton, IN) to face the Bruins in a Sagamore game on Friday, February 4. The Bruins enter the game with a record of 10-5. Tri-West Hendricks won 74-70 in their recent non-league game against Greencastle (Greencastle, IN)
