April 25, 2012: Glendale, CA 91205 In Wednesday's league contest, the Alverno Jaguars (Sierra Madre, CA) softball team overwhelmed the host Holy Family Gaels (Glendale, CA), by a margin of 11-0.
With the triumph, Alverno moves its record to 7-5 on the year. The Jaguars travel to Sacred Heart of Jesus (Los Angeles, CA) to play the Comets in a Horizon contest on Thursday, April 26. The Comets come into the contest with a record of 5-8. Sacred Heart of Jesus lost 9-2 in their recent league contest against Bishop Conaty-Loretto (Los Angeles, CA)
