Hamden Green Dragons (Hamden, CT) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Guilford Indians (Guilford, CT), 50-46 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Hamden upgrades its record to 7-5 on the campaign. The Green Dragons travel to Waterbury Career Academy (Waterbury, CT) to play the Spartans in a non-league bout on Wednesday, January 27. The Spartans come into the bout with a record of 0-2. Waterbury Career Academy lost 63-23 in their recent non-league bout against Torrington (Torrington, CT)
