Arizona High School Basketball - Higley can't hold off O'Connor
December 2, 2008: Gilbert, AZ 85297 The Higley Knights basketball team (Gilbert, AZ), was nudged 64-62 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the visiting O'Connor Eagles (Glendale, AZ)
The Eagles now sport a 2-2 record. They play next when they host Peoria for a non-league battle on Wednesday, December 3. O'Connor will meet a Panthers team coming off a 55-42 non-league win over Kellis (Glendale, AZ). The Panthers record now stands at 1-3.
The Knights (0-2) will now prepare for their battle against Perry (Gilbert, AZ). The Pumas come into the 4A East Sky battle with a 4-3 record. In their last battle, Perry was nudged by Chaparral (Scottsdale, AZ), 66-64, in a non-league battle.

Higley jumped up big 20 to 11 putting the pressure on SDOC hitting 4 3-point shots.

Higley stays up 32 to 24 going into half time.
Third Quarter
SDOC starts to chip away at the Higley lead scoring 18 points to Higley's 14.
