North Carolina High School Basketball - Huss knocked off by Kings Mountain
January 26, 2018: Kings Mountain, NC 28086 The Kings Mountain Mountaineers basketball team scored 86 points and held the visiting Huss Huskies to 72 in the Mountaineers league triumph on Friday.
The Mountaineers now sport a 15-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Ashbrook for a Big South 3A contest on Tuesday, January 30. Kings Mountain will battle a Green Wave team coming off a 82-64 league win over Crest (Shelby, NC). The Green Wave record now stands at 14-6.
The Huskies (11-7) will now prepare for their contest against Crest (Shelby, NC). The Chargers enter the Big South 3A contest with a 3-16 record. In their last contest, Crest was defeated by Ashbrook (Gastonia, NC), 82-64, in a league contest.
