Pennsylvania High School Lacrosse - Perkiomen trounced by Mercersburg Academy
May 7, 2011: Pennsburg, PA 18073 Mercersburg Academy Blue Storm (Mercersburg, PA) followers exited the stadium content Saturday as they witnessed their lacrosse team top the host Perkiomen Panthers (Pennsburg, PA), 17-8 in a non-league challenge.
The Blue Storm now have a 3-8 record. They take the field next when they host Middleburg Academy for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, May 10. Mercersburg Academy will meet a team coming off a 14-1 non-league loss to St. James (St. James, MD). The record now stands at 1-8.
In their next game, the Panthers meet the Lower Moreland Lions (Huntingdon Valley, PA) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, May 11. Perkiomen will attempt to move on its 9-4 season record. The Lions come into the challenge with a 0-3 record after their 21-3 league loss to Delaware County Christian (Newtown Square, PA).
