Arizona High School Basketball - Odyssey Institute nips River Valley

Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Odyssey Institute Minotaur (Buckeye, AZ) and the host River Valley Dust Devils (Mohave Valley, AZ), saw Odyssey Institute's basketball squad hold off River Valley by a count of 57-50.

With the victory, Odyssey Institute upgrades its record to 5-18 on the campaign. The Minotaur host Northwest Christian (Phoenix, AZ) to play the Crusaders in a 3A West challenge on Friday, February 2. The Crusaders come into the challenge with a record of 19-5. Northwest Christian won 57-43 in their recent league challenge against Wickenburg (Wickenburg, AZ)

Next up, the Dust Devils play the Kingman Bulldogs (Kingman, AZ) in a 3A West battle, on Friday, February 2. River Valley will attempt to improve on its 5-17 season record. The Bulldogs come into the battle with a 8-10 record after their 63-62 league loss to Wickenburg (Wickenburg, AZ).
