Texas High School Basketball - Eastlake overwhelms Horizon
January 30, 2018: El Paso, TX 79928 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Eastlake Falcons (El Paso, TX) and the host Horizon Scorpions (El Paso, TX), saw Eastlake's basketball squad wallop Horizon by a tally of 65-35.
With the victory, Eastlake improves its record to 19-13 on the campaign. The Falcons host Ysleta (El Paso, TX) to confront the Indians in a 5A Region I District 2 challenge on Friday, February 2. The Indians come into the challenge with a record of 7-19. Ysleta lost 48-40 in their recent league challenge against Riverside (El Paso, TX)
Next up, the Scorpions confront the Bel Air Highlanders (El Paso, TX) in a 5A Region I District 2 challenge, on Friday, February 2. Horizon will attempt to improve on its 6-23 season record. The Highlanders come into the challenge with a 23-5 record after their 58-44 league win over Del Valle (El Paso, TX).
