Lincoln Lions (San Jose, CA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Saratoga Falcons (Saratoga, CA), 4-3 in a non-league challenge.

The Lions now own a 3-4 record. They take the field next when they host Harker for a non-league match on Tuesday, March 13. Lincoln will meet a Eagles squad coming off a 13-1 non-league loss to Monta Vista (Cupertino, CA). The Eagles record now stands at 2-1.

With the loss, Saratoga moves to 1-4 on the season. The Falcons host Prospect (Saratoga, CA) to meet the Panthers in a non-league match on Monday, March 12. The Panthers go into the match with a record of 0-1.
