California High School Softball - Pacifica bounces Western
May 5, 2011: Anaheim, CA 92804 Pacifica Mariners (Garden Grove, CA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Western Pioneers (Anaheim, CA), 12-0 in a league challenge.
The Mariners now own a 21-2 record. They take the field next when they host Yorba Linda for a Empire challenge on Tuesday, May 10. Pacifica will battle a Mustangs squad coming off a 7-3 league loss to Valencia (Placentia, CA). The Mustangs record now stands at 7-8.
With the loss, Western falls to 2-8 on the campaign. The Pioneers travel to Valencia (Placentia, CA) to battle the Tigers in a Empire challenge on Tuesday, May 10. The Tigers enter the challenge with a record of 19-7. Valencia lost 7-2 in their recent league challenge against Cypress (Cypress, CA)
