Delaware High School Football - St. Elizabeth succumbs to Caravel
September 30, 2006: Wilmington, DE 19805 Caravel Buccaneers (Bear, DE) supporters exited the stadium in high spirits Saturday as they observed their football squad thwart the host St. Elizabeth Vikings (Wilmington, DE), 35-6 in a league challenge.
The Buccaneers now hold a 4-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Delaware Military Academy for a Freelance challenge on Saturday, October 7. Caravel will clash with a squad coming off a 16-14 non-league win over Calvary Christian Academy (Philadelphia, PA). The record now stands at 2-2.
With the defeat, St. Elizabeth moves to 1-3 on the campaign. The Vikings travel to Brandywine (Wilmington, DE) to clash with the Bulldogs in a non-league challenge on Sunday, October 8. The Bulldogs go into the challenge with a record of 2-2. Brandywine won 41-15 in their recent league challenge against Mount Pleasant (Wilmington, DE)
