Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Homewood Patriots (Homewood, AL) and the visiting John Carroll Catholic Cavaliers (Birmingham, AL), saw Homewood's basketball squad knock off John Carroll Catholic by a count of 66-52.

With the victory, Homewood upgrades its record to 10-1 on the campaign. The Patriots travel to Northridge (Tuscaloosa, AL) to play the Jaguars in a non-league challenge on Saturday, December 12. The Jaguars come into the challenge with a record of 7-4.
