September 24, 2011: Sumner, IA 50674 Sumner-Fredericksburg Cougars (Sumner, IA) supporters left the game in high spirits Saturday as they observed their volleyball squad top the visiting South Tama County Trojans (Tama, IA), 2-0 in a non-league match.
Next up, the Cougars clash with the Clayton-Ridge Eagles (Guttenburg, IA) in a Upper Iowa match, on Thursday, October 6. Sumner-Fredericksburg will attempt to advance on its 17-1 season record.
With the loss, South Tama County drops to 10-7 on the campaign. The Trojans host BCLUW (Conrad, IA) to clash with the Comets in a North Iowa Cedar - West match on Tuesday, September 27. The Comets come into the match with a record of 5-12. BCLUW lost 3-0 in their recent league match against Gladbrook-Reinbeck (Reinbeck, IA)
