Connecticut High School Basketball - Cheney RVT overwhelmed by East Catholic
December 18, 2010: Manchester, CT 06042 The East Catholic Eagles basketball team scored 59 points and restricted the visiting Cheney RVT Beavers to 21 in the Eagles non-league victory on Saturday.
With the win, East Catholic upgrades its record to 1-1 on the season. The Eagles host Bulkeley (Hartford, CT) to encounter the Bulldogs in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 23. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 1-2. Bulkeley lost 58-43 in their recent league bout against Bristol Eastern (Bristol, CT)
Next up, the Beavers encounter the Stafford Bulldogs (Stafford Springs, CT) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 21. Cheney RVT will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a 0-1 record after their 62-49 league loss to Windsor Locks (Windsor Locks, CT).
