The Nease Panthers basketball team scored 47 points and restricted the host Ponte Vedra Sharks to 40 in the Panthers non-league victory on Friday.

The Panthers now sport a 4-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to St. Augustine for a 6A District 3 contest on Tuesday, December 8. Nease will battle a Yellow Jackets team coming off a 69-63 non-league loss to Menendez (St. Augustine, FL). The Yellow Jackets record now stands at 4-3.

The Sharks (4-3) will now prepare for their contest against Menendez (St. Augustine, FL). The Falcons come into the 5A District 5 contest with a 2-6 record. In their last contest, Menendez edged St. Augustine (St. Augustine, FL), 69-63, in a non-league contest.
