Illinois High School Basketball - Dundee-Crown falls to St. Patrick
December 3, 2011: Carpentersville, IL 60110 The St. Patrick Shamrocks basketball team scored 44 points and held the host Dundee-Crown Chargers to 35 in the Shamrocks non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Shamrocks now sport a 3-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host St. Viator for a East Suburban Catholic contest on Friday, December 9. St. Patrick will confront a Lions team coming off a 62-47 non-league win over Wheaton Academy (West Chicago, IL). The Lions record now stands at 5-0.
The Chargers (3-2) will now prepare for their contest against Stevenson (Lincolnshire, IL). The Patriots enter the non-league contest with a 2-1 record. In their last contest, Stevenson ran past Zion-Benton (Zion, IL), 67-59, in a league contest.
