October 4, 2012: St. Stephen, SC 29479 In Thursday's league game, the Timberland Wolves (St. Stephen, SC) football team smashed the visiting Lake City Panthers (Lake City, SC), by a final score of 33-0.
The Wolves (6-1) will now prepare for their game against Lake Marion (Santee, SC). The Gators come into the AA Region VII game with a 3-4 record. In their last game, Lake Marion was trounced by Lee Central (Bishopville, SC), 50-12, in a league game.
The Panthers now hold a 1-6 record. They take the field next when they host Andrews for a non-league game on Friday, October 12. Lake City will battle a Wildcats team coming off a 49-25 league loss to Murphy (Murphy, NC). The Wildcats record now stands at 2-5.
