The Houston Texans basketball team scored 67 points and held the visiting Bowie Volunteers to 64 in the Texans non-league triumph on Friday.

The Texans now sport a 10-17 record.

The Volunteers (24-8) will now prepare for their contest against Summit (Arlington, TX). The Jaguars enter the 5A Region I District 4 contest with a 21-9 record. In their last contest, Summit nudged Martin (Arlington, TX), 67-59, in a non-league contest.
