The Valley Vista Monsoon routed the host Moon Valley Rockets basketball team by a final score of 65-43 in Wednesday's non-league game.

In their next game, the Monsoon face the Peoria Panthers (Peoria, AZ) in a non-league game, on Thursday, December 27. Valley Vista will attempt to move on its 9-4 season record. The Panthers enter the game with a 10-4 record after their 73-46 non-league win over Washington (Phoenix, AZ).
