The Largo Lions football squad scored 28 points and limited the host Friendly Patriots to 19 in the Lions league win on Thursday.

The Lions now possess a 6-2 record. They play next when they host Gwynn Park for a Prince George's County 3A/2A/1A battle on Friday, October 28. Largo will play a Yellowjackets squad coming off a 42-6 league win over Central (Capitol Heights, MD). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 7-1.

Coming up next, the Patriots play the Oxon Hill Clippers (Oxon Hill, MD) in a Prince George's County 3A/2A/1A battle, on Friday, October 28. Friendly will attempt to advance on its 5-3 season record.
