California High School Baseball - Saugus defeats Canyon

Saugus Centurions (Saugus, CA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Canyon Cowboys (Canyon Country, CA), 7-0 in a league test.

With the win, Saugus upgrades its record to 13-6 on the season. The Centurions host Palos Verdes Peninsula (Rolling Hills Estates, CA) to battle the Panthers in a non-league test on Saturday, April 26. The Panthers come into the test with a record of 16-4. Palos Verdes Peninsula lost 3-2 in their recent league test against West (Torrance, CA)

With the defeat, Canyon falls to 6-13 on the season. The Cowboys travel to Golden Valley (Santa Clarita, CA) to battle the Grizzlies in a Foothill test on Wednesday, April 30. The Grizzlies come into the test with a record of 4-17. Golden Valley lost 4-3 in their recent league test against West Ranch (Valencia, CA)
