Angleton Wildcats (Angleton, TX) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting George Ranch (Richmond, TX), 63-30 in a league bout.

With the victory, Angleton upgrades its record to 13-15 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Brazosport (Freeport, TX) to face the Exporters in a 4A Region III District 23 game on Friday, January 25. The Exporters enter the game with a record of 6-9. Brazosport won 42-39 in their recent league game against Terry (Rosenberg, TX)

With the defeat, George Ranch moves to 3-19 on the year. The host Lamar Consolidated (Rosenberg, TX) to face the Mustangs in a 4A Region III District 23 game on Friday, January 25. The Mustangs enter the game with a record of 19-3. Lamar Consolidated won 70-34 in their recent league game against Angleton (Angleton, TX)
