South Carolina High School Basketball - Saluda topped by Lexington
January 6, 2018: Lexington, SC 29072 The Lexington Wildcats basketball squad scored 73 points and limited the visiting Saluda Tigers to 54 in the Wildcats non-league win on Saturday.
With the win, Lexington upgrades its record to 11-6 on the season. The Wildcats host Blythewood (Blythewood, SC) to clash with the Bengals in a AAAAA Region V bout on Tuesday, January 9. The Bengals go into the bout with a record of 12-2. Blythewood won 83-57 in their recent non-league bout against Dreher (Columbia, SC)
Next up, the Tigers clash with the Gray Collegiate Academy War Eagles (West Columbia, SC) in a AA Region III bout, on Tuesday, January 9. Saluda will attempt to upgrade on its 6-6 season record. The War Eagles go into the bout with a 11-4 record after their 54-44 league win over Keenan (Columbia, SC).
