Montgomery Vikings (Semmes, AL) fans exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Citronelle Wildcats (Citronelle, AL), 6-1 in a non-league test.

With the win, Montgomery upgrades its record to 18-5 on the season. The Vikings host Fairhope (Fairhope, AL) to battle the Pirates in a non-league test on Sunday, April 12. The Pirates come into the test with a record of 26-5. Fairhope won 16-6 in their recent non-league test against Petal (Petal, MS)

With the defeat, Citronelle falls to 14-16 on the season.
