Georgia High School Football - Mays beat M.L. King
September 14, 2013: Atlanta, GA 30331 The Mays Raiders football squad scored 36 points and restricted the visiting M.L. King Lions to 28 in the Raiders league victory on Saturday.
The Raiders now possess a 2-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Southwest DeKalb for a AAAAA Region 6 battle on Friday, September 20. Mays will face a Panthers squad coming off a 14-7 league win over Lakeside (Atlanta, GA). The Panthers record now stands at 1-2.
Coming up next, the Lions face the North Atlanta Warriors (Atlanta, GA) in a AAAAA Region 6 battle, on Saturday, September 21. M.L. King will attempt to advance on its 2-1 season record. The Warriors enter the battle with a 0-3 record after their 34-0 league loss to Miller Grove (Lithonia, GA).
