Maryland High School Basketball - Calvert Hall prevails McDonogh
January 10, 2010: Baltimore, MD 21286 Calvert Hall Cardinals (Baltimore, MD) backers were in high spirits Sunday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting McDonogh Eagles (Owings Mills, MD), 57-47 in a league bout.
With the win, Calvert Hall upgrades its record to 13-2 on the season. The Cardinals host Goretti (Hagerstown, MD) to encounter the in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 12. The go into the bout with a record of 2-7. Goretti lost 80-46 in their recent non-league bout against Allegany (Cumberland, MD)
Next up, the Eagles encounter the St. Frances Academy Panthers (Baltimore, MD) in a MIAA A bout, on Tuesday, January 12. McDonogh will attempt to upgrade on its 4-3 season record. The Panthers go into the bout with a 9-6 record after their 63-48 league win over Cardinal Gibbons (Baltimore, MD).
