In Friday's league match, the host Center Cougars basketball team scored a good 81-61 triumph over the Placer Hillmen.

In their next game, the Cougars confront the Lincoln Fighting Zebras (Lincoln, CA) in a Pioneer Valley match, on Wednesday, February 9. Center will attempt to move on its 17-6 season record. The Fighting Zebras enter the match with a 6-16 record after their 47-41 league loss to Bear River (Grass Valley, CA).
