California High School Softball - Holy Names falls to Kennedy
April 1, 2009: Richmond, CA 94801 In Wednesday's league challenge, the host Kennedy Eagles softball squad scored a good 14-4 win over the Holy Names Monarchs.
The Eagles now sport a 8-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to St. Mary's for a Bay Shore challenge on Friday, April 3. Kennedy will face a Panthers squad coming off a 3-2 league win over Encinal (Alameda, CA). The Panthers record now stands at 5-4.
With the loss, Holy Names falls to 0-8 on the campaign. The Monarchs host Encinal (Alameda, CA) to face the Jets in a Bay Shore challenge on Tuesday, April 7. The Jets enter the challenge with a record of 4-8. Encinal won 15-8 in their recent league challenge against Piedmont (Piedmont, CA)
