Indiana High School Basketball - Franklin Community fells Brown County

February 2, 2017: Franklin, IN 46131

Franklin Community Grizzly Cubs (Franklin, IN) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Brown County Eagles (Nashville, IN), 72-63 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Franklin Community upgrades its record to 11-5 on the season. The Grizzly Cubs host Columbus North (Columbus, IN) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league bout on Tuesday, February 7. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 12-6. Columbus North won 47-35 in their recent non-league bout against East Central (St. Leon, IN)

Next up, the Eagles play the Greencastle Tiger Cubs (Greencastle, IN) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, February 4. Brown County will attempt to upgrade on its 2-13 season record. The Tiger Cubs go into the bout with a 5-11 record after their 55-31 non-league loss to Monrovia (Monrovia, IN).
