Game Summary
I must say two words: night and day. With a great second half after a dismal first, the Lady Vikings took St. Luke’s by storm scoring a whopping 42 points. The half-time score was King 21-St. Luke’s 20. The smothering pressing defense caused 26 steals and many points on the conversion. Senior, Briana Brown (#14), had 19 first half points and concluded the game with a career high 41 points. She also registered 20 rebounds and 11 of the 26 steals. Senior, Julia Bonnell (#12), played on the floor basketball and registered 9 points, 5 steals and 5 rebounds. Also contributing to the defensive swarm was Senior, Casey Correa (#24), four steals; Juniors, Caroline Sciolla (#5), Sam Karp (#20), Lillie Cooper (#31); Freshmen, Danielle Karp (#3), and Colleen Morris (#10). Hopefully by Monday’s game against Hotchkiss, we will also be joined by Freshmen, Tatiana Brown (#21) and Domonique Carter-Stanley (#15). Come support the girls at home on Monday at 4pm.
