Kentucky High School Basketball - Nicholas County nudges Fleming County
December 13, 2016: Carlisle, KY 40311 In Tuesday's non-league outing, the Nicholas County Bluejackets (Carlisle, KY) basketball squad edged the visiting Fleming County Panthers (Flemingsburg, KY), by a margin of 69-62.
The Bluejackets (3-3) will now prepare for their outing against Robertson County (Mt. Olivet, KY). The Black Devils go into the District 38 outing with a 3-3 record. In their last outing, Robertson County held off Burgin (Burgin, KY), 54-38, in a non-league outing.
The Panthers now own a 1-5 record. They play next when they host Fairview for a non-league outing on Wednesday, December 14. Fleming County will clash with a Eagles squad coming off a 83-82 non-league loss to Bath County (Owingsville, KY). The Eagles record now stands at 2-5.
