Maryland High School Basketball - Park prevails Key
December 16, 2011: Brooklandville, MD 21022 Park Bruins (Brooklandville, MD) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Key Obezags (Annapolis, MD), 60-51 in a league bout.
With the win, Park upgrades its record to 5-1 on the campaign. The Bruins travel to St. John's Catholic Prep (Frederick, MD) to play the Vikings in a MIAA C challenge on Tuesday, January 3. The Vikings come into the challenge with a record of 6-1.
Next up, the Obezags play the Friends Quakers (Baltimore, MD) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, December 16. Key will attempt to improve on its 2-5 season record. The Quakers come into the challenge with a 2-5 record after their 56-50 league loss to Severn (Severna Park, MD).
