California High School Baseball - Franklin holds off Clovis

March 10, 2018: Clovis, CA 93611

Franklin Wildcats (Elk Grove, CA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Clovis Cougars (Clovis, CA), 6-2 in a non-league test.

With the win, Franklin upgrades its record to 4-0 on the season. The Wildcats travel to Rocklin (Rocklin, CA) to clash with the Thunder in a non-league game on Tuesday, March 13. The Thunder go into the game with a record of 2-0. Rocklin won 6-3 in their recent non-league game against Clayton Valley Charter (Concord, CA)

The Cougars (7-2) will now prepare for their game against Liberty (Bakersfield, CA). The Patriots go into the non-league game with a 5-3 record. In their last game, Liberty tipped Hanford West (Hanford, CA), 4-3, in a non-league game.
