The Richmond Raiders basketball team scored 88 points and restricted the visiting Purnell Swett Rams to 73 in the Raiders league victory on Tuesday.

The Raiders now sport a 12-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Lumberton for a 4A Southeastern contest on Friday, February 6. Richmond will battle a Pirates team coming off a 56-54 league win over Hoke County (Raeford, NC). The Pirates record now stands at 11-10.

The Rams (3-15) will now prepare for their contest against Pinecrest (Southern Pines, NC). The Patriots come into the 4A Southeastern contest with a 17-4 record. In their last contest, Pinecrest was defeated by Scotland (Laurinburg, NC), 49-43, in a league contest.
