Alabama High School Basketball - Daleville tops Long
December 27, 2017: Daleville, AL 36322 Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Daleville Warhawks (Daleville, AL) and the visiting Long Rebels (Skipperville, AL), saw Daleville's basketball squad knock off Long by a count of 62-51.
With the victory, Daleville upgrades its record to 5-4 on the campaign. The Warhawks host Pike County (Brundidge, AL) to play the Bulldogs in a 3A Area 4 challenge on Thursday, January 4. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a record of 1-7. Pike County lost 51-44 in their recent non-league challenge against Barbour County (Clayton, AL)
Next up, the Rebels play the Zion Chapel Rebels (Jack, AL) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, January 4. Long will attempt to upgrade on its 4-8 season record. The Rebels come into the challenge with a 0-11 record after their 62-37 non-league loss to Kinston (Kinston, AL).
