In Friday's league match, the visiting West Warriors football squad scored a close 14-10 victory over the North Saxons.

In their next game, the Warriors clash with the Centennial Apaches (Compton, CA) in a Pioneer match, on Friday, October 14. West will attempt to move on its 4-2 season record. The Apaches enter the match with a 0-6 record after their 28-6 league loss to Torrance (Torrance, CA).
